What you will be doing at Pinchin

Managing and scoping Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for transactional due diligence purposes; ensuring they are completed on time and on budget.Managing and scoping regulatory Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments to support Record of Site Condition filings; ensuring they are completed in compliance with the requirements of Ontario Regulation 153/04, as amended.Assisting the Qualified Professional with the management of Excess Soils projects in accordance with the requirements of Ontario Regulation 406, as amended.Assist project staff with the preparation of technical reports and recommendations. Communicate with Clients and understand their project requirements.Prepare proposals.Participate in initiatives with the Marketing department and develop business development skills to build new client relationships and maintain existing ones.Build leadership and mentorship skills by working with and mentoring junior staff.

What you bring to the Pinchin team 

Proven track record and experience with conducting and managing Phase I and II Environmental Site AssessmentsA bachelor’s degree in science (Environmental or Earth Sciences preferred) or bachelor’s degree in engineering or Applied ScienceA P.Eng. or P.Geo. designation is not required but is considered an asset.5-7 years of experience within environmental consulting, at least 2 of which should be in a project management position.Although not required for this role, experience with conducting Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments in support of filing Records of Site Condition in accordance with O. Reg. 153/04 is considered an asset.Experience with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial management.Experience with business development initiatives and client interactionValid driver’s license and insurance are required (work related travel expenses will be compensated)Strong communication skills & professional presentationStrong writing skillsHigh level of attention to detail
