- University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science, with an emphasis on program and project management, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset
- Strong knowledge, advanced training, or certification in LEAN, Six Sigma, or equivalent
- Excellent skill and experience with change management principles
- Minimum three years experience in a clinical or healthcare environment
- Must have excellent knowledge of the principles and practices of project management and demonstrated ability in monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on major projects
- Excellent oral / written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent team building skills including listening, coaching, group facilitation, and conflict resolutions skills
- Experience in using evidenced-based evaluation methodologies
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders

**ACCOUNTABILITIES (Major Responsibilities of the Position)**
Planning:
- Assist with the identification and planning of initiatives across sites with alignment to the strategic plan
- Using environmental scans to help portfolios understand program delivery needs and opportunities
- Assess potential strategies using an evidence based gap analysis
- Assist with understanding current versus planned program deliveries and how they may impact service delivery and patient care across the organization or within funding models.
- Assist with the development of portfolio / program goals and objectives
- Experience in influencing stakeholders at all levels to ensure a collaborative process across care delivery with consideration to both direct and indirect dependencies that may be internal and/or external
- Development of strategies with leaders for enhanced collaboration and communication with all teams to influence necessary change.
- Provide a consistent framework for planning and change management approaches across portfolios
Project Management:
- Project Phases: Defining the project, planning, execution, organizing, monitoring and controlling, and closing
- Standardizing the methods and process within the scope of project management
- Identifying appropriate key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success
- Understanding project terminology
- Help plan resources required at the portfolio levels with project owners to ensure arrangement for appropriate supports.
- Provide and train on the use of templates as provided by PPMO
- Track and report on the current status of any initiative being directly supported through the PPMO (PM assigned) at the Senior Leadership Team performance meeting
- Assist with the identification of resistance and help to develop corrective actions that positively influence the change.
- Promote a transparent process that demonstrates planned objectives are completed and risks are identified with action plans in place
- Work closely with community partner (i.e. CKOHT) on cross-organizational projects and initiatives to support shared patient populations as required
