Are you an innovative Manager, Academic Programs passionate about providing guidance and strategic leadership?

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Manager, Academic Programs. Reporting to the Chair in the new School of Computer Programming & Analysis you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and strategic leadership in the development, enhancement, and evaluation of our academic offerings. This pivotal role supports our strategic and operational initiatives by overseeing special projects related to departmental business plans and operations.

  • Developing and executing an academic program strategy, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and objectives.
  • Leading special projects and initiatives related to departmental business plans and operations, fostering innovation and efficiency. 
  • Managing and facilitating faculty contract hiring for the School of Computer Programming & Analysis (SCPA).
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of academic programs, analyzing student outcomes and program effectiveness.
  • Providing support for centralized processes including program registration, admissions and quality assurance.
  • Collaborating with academic leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for program enhancements, expansion, or new offerings aligned with industry needs and standards.
  • Drive innovation and entrepreneurship through initiation, development and management of relevant courses, programs and projects. 
  • Reviewing fiscal positions related to course enrollment, fees and funding, actively participating in long-term strategic planning and budget processes to ensure financial sustainability and viability.
Are You Our Ideal Manager, Academic Programs? 

We are looking for a strong leader with excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on continuous improvement to lead the Computer Programming and Analysis students. In addition, we have the following qualifications in mind:

  • 5+ years of experience in Academic Programs or relevant area.
  • Post secondary Diploma or Degree in Business, Education, Curriculum Design, Higher Education Administration or in a related field.
