Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Bruce Collision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our accounts receivables, ensuring accurate, timely processing of customer invoices and payments, answering phones and aiding customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a undersntanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, generate, and send invoices to customers in a timely manner. Monitor and track customer accounts to ensure payments are received on time. Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Communicate with customers regarding payment discrepancies and outstanding balances. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and transactions. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements related to accounts receivable. Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and service, to resolve any billing issues. Follow up on delinquent accounts and work with customers to arrange payment plans if necessary. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in customer service, accounts receivable or a related role. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
