- Client Overview: Our client is a growing team of talented, creative professionals dedicated to pushing the Gears franchise to new heights.

- Role Summary: As a Mid-Level Environment Artist, you will collaborate with various teams to make the artistic vision a reality. Your role is crucial in creating visually stunning levels and mentoring other team members.

 

4. What are the key responsibilities?

- Responsibilities and Duties:

  - Uphold the values of the team in building a creative, positive, and inclusive culture.

  - Contribute to the Environment Art team throughout all production phases.

  - Create 3D assets, high-quality models, sculpts, textures, and surfaces.

  - Actively accept feedback from the environment art lead and art director.

  - Provide support to reviewers, managers, and external artists.

  - Work well under deadlines and in a collaborative environment.

 

5. What experience are we looking for to drive success?

- MUST-Have Skills and Qualifications:

  - Knowledge and experience in AAA game development.

  - Strong portfolio showcasing environment artwork.

  - Proficiency in modeling, sculpting, and texturing environmental assets and surfaces.

  - Familiarity with Maya or other 3D software, Z-Brush, Substance Painter or Mixer, and Photoshop.

  - Experience with a modern game engine such as Unreal Engine.

- Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  - Comfortable with organic and hard surface asset creation.

  - Familiarity with high poly and nanite workflows.
