  • Render and provide passes for the compositing team.
  • Design artistic proofs of concept for environment development.
  • Formulate artistic and technical solutions that align with the project's vision.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional VFX experience, with a college diploma or higher in computer graphics, fine arts, design, photography, or a related field; OR 7+ years of relevant professional VFX experience in lieu of formal education.
  • Proven expertise in CG techniques, including modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, look development, and compositing.
  • Demonstrated artistic ability in a non-CG discipline (portfolio showcasing figure or landscape drawing, painting, photography, composition, perspective, lighting, etc.).
  • Submission of a demo reel and shot breakdown is required.
  • Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of Matte Painting techniques and 3D environment creation.
  • Proficiency in software such as Photoshop, 3ds Max, Maya, Houdini, or similar, along with Vray, RenderMan, or comparable rendering tools, and Nuke or similar compositing software.
