Reporting directly to both the Manager, Programs and the Manager, Executive Education and Work Integrated Learning, the position will work closely with staff within these portfolios, as well as other staff involved in related activities such as special events and special projects.

What You’ll Do: Under the oversight of the Manager, Programs, the Experiential Programs Coordinator is responsible to: Provide programming and operational support for the Levene School during peak periods of time including:Levene registration periods,Levene application deadlines,Support other ongoing activities during registration, add/drop periods, Levene cohort programming and application deadlines.
Under the oversight of the Manager, Executive Education and Work Integrated Learning, the Experiential Programs Coordinator position is responsible to coordinate executive education and work integrated and experiential learning opportunities to undergraduate and graduate students to support the Schools’ long-term goals and ensure alignment with the University’s strategic plan.

The Experiential Programs Coordinator is responsible for: Coordination, administration, development and evaluation of experiential learning and executive education programs, courses, applied research opportunities, training and events in the CEEL portfolio, including Hill and Levene Entrepreneurial Collision Space (Collision Space) and Imagineur, provide opportunities for students across the University and professionals in our community Assist in executing the strategic marketing and communication plans and implementation plans for programs, courses, training and events; implementation of content development of promotional materials and website updates Assist in recruitment, selection, and evaluation of contracted facilitators; including assistance in interviewing, selecting and recommending any term student staff Assist in event planning activities including researching relevant topic areas based on emerging stakeholder and environmental needs Collaborate with units across campus related to experiential learning initiatives and leveraging institutional resources for the benefit of our programming and students Program and policy revisions in collaboration with Manager, Executive Education and Work Integrated Learning Identify and recommend potential partnerships for Executive Education and Work Integrated Learning portfolio Plus More: Be ready to take on additional related tasks as assigned – your role is dynamic and essential to our success

Seize the opportunity to shape the future of business leaders today Position Requirements What You’ll Bring to this Position: Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business Administration or Marketing 1 – 3 years of related experience in event planning, programming coordination, client relationship management and/or communications Combination of education and experience may be considered.

Skills That Will Ensure Your Success in the Role: Thorough knowledge of post-secondary academic processes, policies and regulations (specific to the University of Regina, Faculty of Graduate Studies & Research, and the Faculty of Business is considered an asset) Proficiency in the use of Banner Modules, CASPUR Reports, UR Docs and Degree Audit Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Knowledge of and experience with grades conversation for international transcripts is considered an asset Experience with relationship management, collaboration and leadership to maintain successful partnerships across University units and within the Hill and Level Schools of Business Knowledge of marketing and experience in public relations Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills (comprehension of French langue is considered an asset) Understanding of mediation skills to resolve issues related to students/earners and faculty as well as potential issues with clients/educators In-depth knowledge of the local business, government and First Nations communities and understanding of the ways in which the various local stakeholder groups interact with each other and with the University community Ability to successfully manage multiple, overlapping and conflicting priorities while meeting deadlines Analytical skills required to continually monitor internal and external trends and to develop plans to react accordingly
