This new role will join a collaborative and energetic team who raise funds from a variety of sources including trust and foundations, corporate partnerships, major donors, events and community fundraisers and individual giving.

The Corporate Lead will drive our Corporate Giving strategy, supporting, nurturing and growing our fantastic network of partners. Responsible for all corporate fundraising operations and reporting directly into the Associate Director of Fundraising.

Main duties of the job

Form productive and positive relationships with corporate bodies that include regional businesses, larger corporations and those with corporate foundations, to grow income, evolving new products to align with sector changes and showcase our growth and impact on the ground. Develop and deliver a Corporate Giving fundraising strategy, plan and robust prospect pipeline for Newcastle Hospitals Charity (NHC) to achieve agreed income projections. Lead, inspire and support the wider fundraising and /or Charity team to meet fundraising projections and strategic goals. Develop compelling fundraising and partnership opportunities, for corporate partners, aligned to the strategic objectives of Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, including payroll giving, charity of the year, specific appeals and capital programmes for one off, multi-year or in-kind opportunities, initiating 5 and 6 figure funding agreements. Deliver an exceptional donor stewardship programme that meaningfully connects with corporate supporters and grows our supporter base. Establish a strong network of corporate partners, raising the profile of the charity by attending, leading and hosting key networking events and/or conferences and staying abreast of key sector insights and trends, representing Newcastle Hospitals Charity across a variety of contexts.

Job responsibilities

Were looking for someone who is passionate about healthcare and building long-term mutually valuable partnerships, while also being hands-on in working with our partners and on projects.

The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing a fundraising strategy to raise awareness and achieve agreed income projections across targeted revenue streams and platforms, including digital appeals/campaigns Lead on maximising growth opportunities for current partnerships and supporter networks Lead on the identification and engagement of potential new supporters across targeted fundraising programmes Grow, nurture and manage a range of external relationships to achieve income generation goals Oversee an effective programme of supporter stewardship Ensure fundraising activity is managed within agreed income and expenditure budgets and delivers on agreed return on investment (RoI) Oversee fundraising performance to ensure income projections are achievable and quality is maintained, producing monthly reports for the senior team and the Charity Committee Adhere to the fundraising code of conduct, ensuring donor support, messaging and tactics meet the agreed fundraising governance and quality standard and is cost effective Continually identify and develop opportunities for growing income Lead, inspire manage and support the fundraising team to meet fundraising projections and goals, and to achieve their potential Agree objectives and monitor progress, identifying and agreeing development opportunities Nurture and develop fundraising volunteers Represent Newcastle Hospitals Charity at key meetings internally and externally Deputise for the Associate Director as required
