What’s the ask?
The successful candidate will have a primary focus on the pursuit of new clients who operate mid to large businesses in Canada and are looking for a partner to consult on their employee benefits programs.
Key responsibilities:
Soliciting, counselling and quoting potential new clients leveraging external carrier partnersManaging the sales and implementation processDealing with all aspects of employee benefits programs from inception of new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments and claimsAn individual sales goal will be developed and supported with a sales and training plan created with the National Benefits Leadership TeamThe successful candidate will bring the ability to balance a proficiency in both closing new business as well as fostering relationships with clients to support strong retention.What does it take?
Minimum 5 years experience in employee benefits LLQP license or willingness to obtainStrong social skills and confidence required to succeedCustomer-centric, friendly and professional at all timesDemonstrated consultative approach to sellingExceptional organization skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyHighly developed sales and customer service skillsHigh level of self-motivation, with the ability to perform effectively with minimal supervisionExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office productsProficiency with social media and willingness to work with emerging digital toolsGBA, CEBS (or working towards designation) would be an assetWho we are
