Our privately owned and growing services company is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in the Mount Forest area. This individual will report into the CFO and lead a team of 4. They will oversee the accounting department and assist with budgeting, preparing financial statements, work on various reports, analysis and costing.

Please note: this position requires you to be in Ontario and in the local area, as this is an on-site position.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage, coach and mentor the accounting team
  • Assist in the preparation of the budget and forecasts
  • Prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly and annual budget to actual schedules) and analysis
  • Manage accounting operations, capital asset tracking, inventory control, and general accounting duties
  • Main point of contact for the auditors
  • Cashflow management
  • Review payroll processing and accounting entries
  • Assist the CFO with projects and process improvements

Qualifications:
  • CPA designated preferred, or enrolled in
  • 3+ years of Full-cycle accounting experience
  • Experience with putting processes into place
  • Intermediate to advance excel skills
