What you’ll do:

  • The Business Development Manager is responsible for building Delmanor Aurora’s brand awareness in the community and driving traffic back to the residences, through various community outreach events.
  • They will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong network of community partners
  • Develops and foster professional relationships with members of the community at large including healthcare partners
  • Establishes and maintain relationships with local community influencers and organizations to promote and encourage referral-based traffic
  • Actively participates at local and regional based events (B2C, B2B) and provides information to the general public and community organization.
  • Identify, report gaps and manages the planning the in-house lead generation and networking events.
  • Other duties as required

What you bring:

Strong customer service, and community relationship building experience.

Understanding and experience with B2B relationships, B2B prospecting and B2B cold calling

Experience working with older adults or retirement living industry

Strong organizational and event planning skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities and effectively plan and manage events

Ability to communicate effectively one on one and in a group setting, including public speaking

Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Contact Management Software)

Flexible hours are required including evenings and alternate standard working days. Standard working days are Tuesday through Saturday
