Position:  Jr. Fleet Manager

Type:  Full Time – Permanent - On-Site

Location:  970 Brock Rd., Pickering, Ontario, L1W 2A1

AutoLux Ltd. o/a Rapid City Transportation has been specializing in medical transportation logistics services for 30 years, supporting all of Ontario offering door-to-door concierge style transportation for individuals requiring special care - before, during and after their transfers. This new role will work within the Fleet Department and coordinate with the Dispatch and Management team on a daily basis, ensuring smooth business operations. 

We are looking for someone who is excited about a new opportunity,  and who is early in their career.  Someone who is dependable, organized, ambitious , and thrives off a fast-paced work environment . 

 What will your responsibilities be?

Support with investigation and tracking of complaints, compliments and feedback regarding Drivers who are stationed all over Ontario.  Support with accident investigation, reporting and filing of information. Tracking to ensure cleanliness of all vehicles, and maintain adequate supplies for Driver vehicles. Support with other varying record keeping, data entry, tracking and filing. Support with set up, update, and troubleshoot of all Driver mobile devices, cameras and tracking systems and related software.  Provide coverage to Fleet Department for vehicle related issues. Support with maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, such as third-party suppliers, and companies/governing bodies.  Working with HR to support Drivers on various leaves – tracking and following up. Support with recruitment and training as required.  Other duties as requestedby the Management team.

Position Qualifications:

Post-secondary education considered an asset 3-5 years relevant working experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills (MS Suite – intermediate excel) Experience with ADP Workforce Now an asset Strong analytical and problem solving skills Professional, friendly, patient, empathetic, dependable and self-motivated High ability to operate in a busy environment
