We are seeking a Jr. Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this entry-level role, you will support a wide range of HR operations and corporate activities. You will serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and external partners, representing the company with professionalism and courtesy.

**A day in the life.**

The primary responsibilities of the role will include recruitment, benefits, employee onboarding, employee records management, and involvement in special projects.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including job descriptions, placing ads, scheduling interviews, telephone interviews, employment offers, orientation.
- Assist with handling employee relation issues and confidential HR matters.
- Support employees by answering their queries on a wide range of topics.
- Administration, documentation, and maintenance of personnel and payment files.
- Administer and process benefit enrollment or change information to plan providers, billing, filing and communication to employees.
- HR projects and initiatives - participate and provide coordination support to various HR projects and new initiatives: e.g. policy review, employee handbook, Accessibility, Employment Standards and Legislation updates.
- Assist with the payroll process as backup support.
- This position has a mixture of benefits, payroll and HR Functions.

**What you bring to the team.**
- Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources.
- Positive outlook with a willingness to work out of scope.
- Knowledge of Provincial Employment Standards and HR compliance.
- High degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Integrity and strong adherence to the practice of business ethics.
- Strong keyboarding skills with proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
