Your Opportunity:

As an Administrative Support IV, you will be an integral member of the Fort McMurray Addiction and Health program supporting the Manager and associated teams. This Administrative Support IV position will work under minimal supervision and require critical thinking and strong decision-making skills. Strict confidentiality, attention to detail, positivity, creativity, flexibility and initiative must be demonstrated. This position provides administrative support for the Inpatient Psychiatry Manager and the various department staff. The Administrative Support utilizes enhanced skills to perform various office duties in a professional, effective, and timely manner. This position requires knowledge of current office systems. This position also requires continuous coordinating and managing of day-to-day administrative duties of the multidisciplinary team. Duties include but are not limited to verifying, inputting and processing information and data into a variety of programs and systems, payroll and timekeeping duties, composition of confidential information and correspondence, calendar management; including scheduling of meetings/appointments/teleconferences. Together with the Manager, responsible for RMS recruitment process; including maintenance of employee status, vacancy tracking as well as assisting with budget tracking and reconciliation including competence with Oracle and iExpense applications. The Administrative Support works to resolve problems using enhanced problem solving skills and decision making. As well as ensuring smooth coordination of education and communication between the multiple teams. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Fort McMurray Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $12,480. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with E-People, ESP, RMS and Oracle will be an asset.
