This position is suited to an individual with adeveloping or entry level skill set for maintenance work. Extensive, formaltraining will be provided to further the career development of the technician.Work is to be done in a safe and professional manner as a committed member ofthe Maintenance Team.

A Day in the Life of a Ski Equipment Repairer:

· Responsible for assisting with the preventativemaintenance and minor repair of the following assets:

o All winter sports equipment, inventory, and repair

o Preventative maintenance on all outdoor sports equipment

o Buildings & Components

o Washrooms & Laundry Facilities

o Drinking Water Systems

o Waste Water Systems

o Driveways and roadways

o Small appliance repair

o Restaurant Equipment & Appliances

· Experiencedwith vehicle & equipment operation and maintenance.

· Experiencedand proficient with power & hand tools, small engines, and construction equipment.

· Acceptsownership of organizational goals and explores opportunities to add value tothe MWHS guest experience.

· Adesire to live and work in a remote setting with limited access to nearbycities.

· Prioritizationand time management skills

· Problemsolving and decision-making skills.

Requirements& Qualifications:

· Generalexperience in building and utilities maintenance, or an aptitude for workingwith tools and construction materials. The desire to learn is essential.

· Apprenticeshiptraining in a construction-related trade would be an asset.

· Aservice driven individual dedicated to the guest experience and cleanliness.

· Attentionto detail and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

· Basiccomputer skills; experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems(CMMS) an asset.

· ValidClass 5 driver’s license; An overweight trailer endorsement would be an asset.

· OccupationalFirst Aid Level 1 preferred

· Willingto work a flexible schedule coinciding with work volumes (Major snow events,emergency break-in work)

· Attributesinclude strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, persuasive and positivepersonal image.

Compensation:

$22 to $24 perhour depending on skills and experience, eligible for Health & Dental benefits and GRRSP after 3 months
