The Groomer Operator provides an exceptional service and experience by managing the ski and snowboarding terrain, ensuring that the very best conditions are provided for our guests.

**Specific responsibilities we would like to highlight for the role**:

- Perform safe and efficient operation of grooming equipment throughout the ski hill.
- Grooming, maintaining, preparing, and rebuilding ski runs and trails.
- Perform daily inspections and care of Grooming fleet, reporting any maintenance required to the Manager, and performing minor maintenance.
- Reporting and/or eliminating any unsafe terrain hazards on runs and trail access routes.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**

Must be able to work independently or with team members, under pressure, be dependable and able to work flexible hours. Must possess strong communication skills and be respectful of other employees and guests at all times.
- Experience in key areas of grooming operations is an asset.
- Familiarity with grooming equipment - Winch Cat, Free Groomer, Park Groomer
- Valid driver’s license is required (must meet all regulatory requirements to operate trucks and other equipment used)
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

Weekends, shift work, holidays and overtime as required.
