Who We Are
Graduate Studies directs the administration of more than 140 graduate programs across all three campuses and eight faculties. Our office supports the vision and leadership of the university through the Dean and Vice-Provost's role as well as through oversight and guidance of graduate admissions, adherence and equitable compliance to graduate policies, and administrative direction and training for procedures and systems. We also collaboratively facilitate support for graduate students, faculty members and graduate programs with individual and systemic issues and foster graduate student engagement and professional development activities.
About the Role
The Manager, Graduate Admissions manages the evaluation and processing of annual admissions from graduate applications, including the review, evaluation and assessment of international and domestic credentials and post-secondary institutions. The Manager acts as a resource for graduate program staff who have questions on procedures, policies, and systems processes, working with unit staff on the resolution of a variety of issues. The role investigates and resolves discrepancies in the application system and manages the admissions workflow. The Manager oversees the graduate applicant process, procedures, and activities within the graduate application system and the student information management system. They assist unit staff with system configuration and problem solving; and train new graduate program staff in all academic units on current graduate policies and procedures related to graduate admissions activities.

They excel at communicating clearly & effectively, collaborating with a diverse community with unique priorities, and planning & prioritizing to effectively manage the cyclical nature of the admissions cycle.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience in enterprise level student information systems and graduate admissions/records management, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Excellent, supervisory, team management, problem solving, and conflict management skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation). Excellent knowledge of graduate academic program administration, and related admission practices. Ability to prepare training documentation and conduct training sessions on student information systems. Ability to evaluate and adjust priorities to meet deadlines.What We Offer
