Applicants must have the following qualifications:
* Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse withthe College of Nurses of Ontario, or the ability to
become licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario
* Current certification in BCLS
* Recent experience in Critical Care Nursing with experience inthe care of complex patient populations
* Ability to use the Nursing Process (assessment, planning,implementation, evaluation) in conjunction with her/his
basic and ongoing knowledge to arrive at individualized careplanning and delivery
* Identify and recognize abnormal or unexpected patient responsesand take appropriate action
* Ability to simultaneously manage multiple nursing interventions
* Strong interprofessional and communication skills
* Central Venous Line Management
* Certification or completion Lead II Arrhythmia InterpretationProgram
In addition to the above qualifications, preference will be givento applicants who:
* Have a certification, or recent continuing education in CriticalCare Nursing
* Current certifications in TNCC, PALS, ENPC, and ACLS
Salary Range: $39.070 to 56.000
