We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in our Intensive Care Unit. This includes assessing patients' needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
  • Assess patients' needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current certification in BCLS
  • Recent experience in Critical Care Nursing
  • Ability to use the Nursing Process in conjunction with ongoing knowledge to arrive at individualized care planning and delivery
  • Strong interprofessional and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in Critical Care Nursing
  • Current certifications in TNCC, PALS, ENPC, and ACLS
