Salesforce Developer

Preference will be given to qualified employees, as defined in the Full-Time Support Staff Collective Agreement. Should a suitable candidate not be found, external candidates will be considered.
The Salesforce developer is responsible for participating in and leading all aspects of application design, development, testing, documentation and implementation of custom code-based solutions, assessment of project requirements and required deliverables. The incumbent is responsible for the end-to-end development, implementing the long-term strategy of the Salesforce platform to meet current and future operational functionality as well as assisting in governance, project management activities and other assigned tasks. The incumbent collaborates with various stakeholders, teams members, functional and technical resources, completing tasks and communicating project information while adhering to College’s policies and compliance to various standards.
The Salesforce Developer possesses Salesforce technical knowledge and experience to be able to analyze, design and implement system enhancement, interfaces and integrations between the Student Information System and Sheridan's Salesforce environment, as well as, resolve complex technical problems with existing systems.
