Act as an IT single point of contact on smaller projects or work with a Project Manager on a larger project.This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience in either a clinical setting or in IT.Able to work on several projects concurrently.Provide leadership and organization to project resource team members by delegating/reviewing work completed by the team, contractors, or other external stakeholders.- Communicate, manage expectations, and represent the organization's interests to internal and external stakeholders.Provide recommendations and advice in the strategy, planning, and development of new or improved procedures and policies.Facilitate or participate in meetings to assist in documenting action items, user requirements, and issues. Lead meetings as required. Provide support to the project team in managing issues and risks and escalate them to the Project Manager. Liaise with key stakeholders for the project to gather and exchange information to address and resolve issues.Create Project Proposals and Statements for smaller projects.Document project management processes and use the required tools as defined by the PMO.Travel to AHS sites to perform walk throughs, user group meetings, monitoring of installs, etc.Financial/Procurement Administrative Duties:Monitor, maintain, and analyze budget and cost controls for the project.Gather user group requirements and document IT equipment lists for approval the stakeholders.Gather post-implementation review feedback, perform transition to operations processes, and complete proper project closure duties.

Description:

As a Coordinator II, you will require advanced or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex projects, procedures, practices or initiatives within a department, program or business unit.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

Needs to be comfortable working in a health care facility.Construction knowledge is an asset.
