This role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead a collaborative project with the Town of Georgina and the NYSS OHT, focused on bringing exceptional care closer to Georgina’s residents and advancing Southlake’s strategic health goals. This position is a full-time contract to extend to December 2025, with the potential for extension.

Georgina is a vibrant lakeshore town situated in one of Canada’s most dynamic regions—York Region. Formed in 1970 through the amalgamation of six distinct communities, Georgina has since evolved into a unified and thriving area where residents, organizations, and businesses collaborate with the municipality to drive a rapidly growing economy. Known for its unique historical charm, each part of Georgina contributes to its cohesive community spirit. The town’s crown jewel, Lake Simcoe, not only inspires a lively arts scene but also offers year-round recreational opportunities that draw visitors from across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. Just an hour from Toronto, Georgina combines rural tranquility with urban convenience, making it an ideal place to live, work, and play. Its proximity to major urban centers in the GTA, combined with an attractive lakeside lifestyle and relatively affordable real estate, makes Georgina a sought-after location for people at all stages of life.

This project is more than just a role— it’s a commitment to advancing a distributed model of healthcare that enhances access, improves patient experiences, and addresses health equity issues within our community. If you’re passionate about making a meaningful impact and ready to lead transformative change, we want you on our team.

If you're passionate about making a real difference and thriving in a dynamic environment, this role offers you the chance to lead impactful projects and shape the future of community health. For more details about the MOU and our ambitious goals, visit Southlake and Georgina MOU Announcement.
