Our client, a green packaging manufacturing company headquartered in Pakistan, is opening an office in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Sales & Business Development Manager to join the team.

Role Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to drive business growth by acquiring new customers for the sale of PET cups and lids. You will have prior experience working with one of the leading companies in the industry, such as Fabrikal, Solo, or Dart Packaging, selling the similar products. You will play a crucial role in expanding the market presence and increasing revenue through strategic customer acquisition.

What you will do?
  • New Customer Acquisition:
  • Identify and research potential customers within the target market who could benefit from PET cups and lids.
  • Reach out to prospective customers through cold calling, emails, networking events, and other channels to introduce our products and services.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our PET cups and lids.
  • Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling sales pitches and marketing materials.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers, understanding their needs and pain points.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide product information to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication to nurture the relationship and move them through the sales funnel.
  • Sales Performance Monitoring:
  • Track sales activities, customer interactions, and conversion rates to measure the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights to management on progress and areas for improvement.
  • Industry Networking:
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential customers and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner and promote the benefits of our PET cups and lids.
  • Collaboration and Training:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer needs and market demands.
  • Train and educate internal sales teams on product features and sales techniques.


RequirementsWhat do you need to succeed?
  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the PET cups and lids industry.
  • Prior employment history with one of the following companies: Fabrikal, Solo, or Dart Packaging, selling the same products.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven individual with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of the PET cups and lids market and understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Willingness to travel for client visits, trade shows, and industry events as needed.
