We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the accounting industry based in St. Catharines, Ontario. The ideal candidate will be well versed in processing and reconciling vendor invoices, maintaining accurate records, and responding effectively to vendor queries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer credit
• Review and match vendor information for payment preparation
• Ensure all vendor invoices have necessary department approvals in the Financial System
• Reconcile accounts payable subledger by reviewing AP balances and running reconciliation reports
• Support the Accounting Supervisor by generating daily reports of AP transactions
• Conduct monthly and year-end reporting and reconciliation of various accounts
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendor queries regarding outstanding invoices
• Create and process credit vouchers for credit invoices received from vendors
• Perform other related duties as needed.
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Check Runs
• Ability to handle Coding Invoices
• Experience in Data Entry
• Proficiency in Invoice Processing
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Oracle
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Experience with SAP
