Department Overview

The Technology Solutions Department is dedicated to crafting cutting-edge technology solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency, managing risk, and driving revenue growth for the firm. Central to their mission is the implementation of a robust Cyber Security program following the NIST Cyber Security Framework. This department emphasizes technical excellence through innovative application designs, seamless data integration, and resilient infrastructure, all while prioritizing information security. Key functions within Technology Solutions encompass Project Management, Vendor Management, Business Analysis, Enterprise Data Governance, Application Development, and Infrastructure Operations. We work closely with firm leadership and business unit heads to align technology initiatives with strategic business objectives.


Position Responsibilities

As the Vice President of Modern Workplace – Low-Code Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in spearheading the development and governance of internal low-code initiatives aimed at bolstering productivity and adaptability across our organization. Your responsibilities will include leading a dedicated team to deliver robust low-code solutions leveraging the Microsoft 365 platform. Success in this role hinges on close collaboration with business and Technology Solutions stakeholders, coupled with a comprehensive understanding of our technology ecosystem to guide the judicious use of low-code solutions. Additionally, you will oversee the implementation and ongoing management of our low-code framework and associated Community of Practice (CoP), ensuring proper risk mitigation while fostering a culture of innovation among citizen developers. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, a penchant for exploration, a dedication to service excellence, and the ability to proactively navigate challenges. Given the interactive nature of this role, effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the design, development, and support of M365-based low-code applications for business teams and enterprise-level use
  • Serve as the M365 subject matter expert, guiding stakeholders on the strategic use of low-code tools within the broader technology landscape
  • Manage a team of M365 developers and support engineers, ensuring timely resolution of Level 2 helpdesk issues and adherence to SLAs
  • Implement agile and DevOps practices to streamline team workflows and enhance deployment automation
  • Stay abreast of evolving technologies within M365 and the broader low-code space, providing recommendations for technology stack enhancements
  • Establish a low-code/citizen development framework and CoP to support innovation while mitigating business risks
  • Ensure organizational compliance with the framework and drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration within the CoP to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, users, and other Technology Solutions teams


Candidate Requirements Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of application delivery experience, preferably in Financial Services
  • 3+ years of experience with M365 and Power Platform solutions
  • 3+ years of team management experience
  • Demonstrated success in delivering applications and engaging with clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams administration, and application development
  • Proven ability to formulate and implement technology strategies at an enterprise level
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies
  • Customer-centric mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
