Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Canada. ( Profile : Our client is a manufacturer of material handling equipment used in airports, warehouses and on production lines. We are looking for a Business Development Manager in the GTA to manage a small team and sell into an assigned territory. This dual role will allow you to coach our team to growth while selling yourself and growing the Western Canada territory from the GTA. Territory : Canada Workplace : Combination of office in GTA + On the road Products/Services : Material handling equipment Salary : Base $130,000-$150,000 Commissions/Bonus : 20% on base Car allowance : Vehicle provided+ gas card Expense’s reimbursement : All reasonable expenses reimbursed Other Benefits : Life insurance Lifestyle spending account Health spending account Internet for home Laptop Cell phone 4 weeks vacation Benefits paid by company Functions : Lead, mentor, and manage a national sales team of internal and external representatives Sell and manage a western sales territory with your own clients Develop and execute strategies to drive sales across all product lines Visit customers alongside sales reps to build relationships and close business Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across Canada Monitor sales performance, set goals, and ensure targets are consistently achieved Collaborate with the Managing Director on sales planning, forecasting, and strategy Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Requirements : Development vs Maintenance : 40% vs 60% Road vs Office : 60% vs 40% Languages : Excellent written and spoken English Education : Bachelor's degree highly favoured Training : Training and onboarding provided Overnight Travel : Up to 20% overnight travel Years of experience : 7+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role Other requirements : Solid background in capital equipment or capital expenditure sales Experience leading teams and managing sales Transferable contacts : N/A Transferable Knowledge : Experience selling capital equipment is required Experience selling warehouse automation equipment such as conveyors, or sorting systems are a huge asset Technical sales experience needed Experience in manufacturing is an asset
