Location: Surrey, BC. Industry: Manufacturing/Distribution. Salary: $70,000-$95,000. The Role With workplace cleanliness and organization in mind, you will work with your team to meet the highest standard of maintenance and housekeeping of the warehouse during its day-to-day operations Assign daily work duties to warehouse workers ensuring safety, service and productivity and reliability requirements are met Creating a daily schedule of expected inbound and outbound shipments Provide training, support and direction to employees to ensure understanding of and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) Demonstrate leadership through effective teamwork and a positive attitude Organizing & completing monthly cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy Constantly looking for ways to improve the distribution and packing process and ensuring the team meets or exceeds quality standards Overseeing order processing and ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods Monitor department's performance, prepare reports for senior management, and offer improvements based on the metrics The Ideal Candidate 5+ years hands-on shipping, delivery and receiving experience as well as prior experience in a supervisory/leadership role Post-Secondary education is an asset Ability to collaborate and motivate within a team environment Ability to identify various projects for improving the facilities and related systems Knowledge of MS Office applications and experience with ERP systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills along with a sense of urgency and personal accountability #J-18808-Ljbffr
