**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including order picking, shipping, and receiving.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts to facilitate effective order fulfillment.
- Oversee the operation of heavy equipment such as cranes and reach trucks to ensure safe handling of materials.
- Implement best practices for warehouse organization and layout to maximize efficiency.
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on operational procedures and safety protocols.
- Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in productivity and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the supply chain.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in order picking techniques and familiarity with order fulfillment processes.
- Experience operating heavy equipment, including cranes and reach trucks.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and coordinate with other departments.
- Ability to build strong relationships with team members while fostering a positive work environment.
