**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the daily operations of the warehouse, including day to day management of warehouse leads and staff.
- Ensures KPI and standards are maintained and service levels are achieved.
- Ensures daily tasks are done efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Oversees accuracy in inventory control, receiving and bin movements.
- Oversee inventory cycle count and annual inventory procedures.
- Ensuring orders are being shipped in a first in first out priority and meeting all company metrics to ensure service standards.
- Being involved in multiple projects, related to process and warehouse optimization.
- Provides direction and coaching for all warehouse staff and team development.
- Actively participate in organizational culture initiatives creating a culture conducive to higher engagement and retention
- Work closely with logistics coordinator who is responsible for all outbound freight with LTL companies or 3rd party logistics companies.
- Participate and oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely picking/packing of customer orders
- Identify cost savings, strategic opportunities to optimize warehouse functions and improve service.
- Focus on continual service improvement with a strong focus on P&L accountability.
- Ensure all health and safety guidelines are being followed.
- Create a positive environment for warehouse employees.

**Requirements**:

- Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience as a Warehouse Manager, including inventory experience within a warehouse environment. Shipping, receiving, and order processing experience highly preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- Experience setting up, maintaining, or optimizing drop shipments with major couriers.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word and Outlook.
- 2-5 years of related work experience, with specific knowledge of Six Sigma/Learn
- General ability to work with tools and warehouse machinery
- Able to lift 23 kgs (50 lbs) without assistance and work at a fast pace, when necessary
- Manufacturing principles preferred.
- Degree or Diploma preferred
