Role Summary:

The Business Development Intern will gain sales and marketing experience by identifying leads, managing customer data, and assisting in sales strategies.


Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Inside Sales Intern. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of sales and marketing.


Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential leads, including companies, personas, and decision-makers
  • Generate qualified sales leads through inbound and outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social selling
  • Achieve and exceed assigned meeting targets
  • Pre-qualify lead before scheduling introductory call
  • Draft a pre-call write-up with details on the contact, the company, and how the call was scheduled for the Product Specialist and Head of BD
  • Manage and update customer data within our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
  • Generate monthly reports on sales trends, customer feedback, and market competition.


Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in sales and marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching the next potential client.
