We develop and produce premium film and television projects, including our recent series Heated Rivalry , which debuted on Crave in Canada and HBO Max internationally. We are a small, ambitious, and highly collaborative team working across development, production, marketing, and company operations. We are looking for a sharp, organized, proactive Executive Assistant who can support our leadership across all aspects of the business—and grow with us as the company expands. About the Role The Executive Assistant will provide direct support to the co-presidents of Accent Aigu Entertainment. This is a hybrid role combining high-level administrative support, production coordination, and company operations. You will work closely with executives, creatives, partners, and vendors across all stages of development and production. This position is ideal for someone who has worked as an EA, production office coordinator, agency assistant, development assistant, or in a similar role within the film, television, or entertainment ecosystem. What You’ll Do Executive & Administrative Support Oversee complex scheduling and calendar management for AAE executives. Coordinate meetings, calls, Zooms, pitch sessions, and travel itineraries. Manage inbox triage, flag priority communications, and draft polished emails. Maintain clear, organized digital files across Google Drive and Dropbox. Prepare meeting agendas, notes, summaries, and follow-up action items. Production & Development Support Track project-related deadlines, deliverables, submissions, and materials. Assist with applications and submissions (e.g., CMF, Telefilm, Ontario Creates, festivals)—collect documents, fill basic forms, maintain checklists. Support communication with external partners (networks, agency teams, publicists, producers, lawyers, accountants). Update company trackers, development grids, and internal documents. Assist with production logistics when needed (crew onboarding materials, distribution of paperwork, organizing documents for lawyers or business affairs). Company Operations Create and maintain systems for workflow, filing, documentation, and efficiency. Help manage office logistics, subscriptions, vendor accounts, and internal processes. Support basic bookkeeping admin (collecting receipts, organizing invoices, preparing material for our bookkeeper and finance team). Assist with special projects across the company as they arise. Heated Rivalry Merchandise (Light / Occasional) While not the core of the role, you may occasionally support: Pulling simple Shopify reports or updating product info. Coordinating logistics for merchandise-related events or signings. Communicating with vendors and tracking small operational items. This experience is not required—but comfort learning new digital tools is. Who You Are Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the film & television industry, entertainment, creative agency, or similar environment. Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through. A proactive problem solver who anticipates needs and finds solutions early. Comfortable managing multiple priorities, shifting deadlines, and high-volume communication. Polished, professional communicator who can write and speak with clarity and tact. Tech-savvy and comfortable with: Google Workspace Dropbox Zoom Basic spreadsheet functions LLM’s (Nice to have but not required: Shopify, Monday.com, Slack, Photoshop, Movie Magic Budget, Movie Magic Scheduling) Discreet and trustworthy with confidential information.
