Work Location Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours 37.5 hours per week Line of Business Enterprise Enabling Functions Pay Details $91,200 - $136,800 CAD (may vary based on experience and location) Job Description We are looking for a Product Owner – Salesforce Data Cloud to drive delivery of an agile pod focused on bringing TD’s customer data strategy to life. This role turns vision into action by refining user stories, managing a focused backlog, collaborating with partners across Marketing, Digital, Analytics, and Technology, and ensuring the pod delivers high‑quality Data Cloud capabilities such as segmentation, unification, activation, and real‑time insights. Support the Product Group Owner and other Martech Product Owners in executing the Data Cloud roadmap. Translate strategic direction into refined, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear sequencing. Maintain a prioritized, value‑driven backlog aligned to customer and business needs. Partner with marketing, digital, and analytics teams to clarify requirements and ensure new capabilities solve real customer problems. Participate fully in agile ceremonies and represent the voice of the business at the pod level. Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects, and Analysts on identity resolution, harmonized data models, segmentation, consent alignment, and activation readiness. Stay aware of evolving Salesforce capabilities and reflect future needs in the backlog. Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders and the Senior Product Owner. Shareholder Responsibilities Ensure pod activities follow enterprise agile practices, privacy standards, data governance policies, and regulatory requirements. Identify and escalate risks, data quality issues, or blockers that may impact delivery timelines. Support Quarterly Business Review inputs with progress updates, story completion metrics, and value delivered. Maintain focus on delivering high‑quality increments by supporting defect identification, prioritization, and resolution. Encourage open communication between developers, analysts, testers, and business partners. Breadth & Depth Manage delivery scope for the Data Cloud pod within defined user stories and increments. Align with other Product Owners and the Product Group Owner to ensure pod‑level work integrates with broader roadmap and enterprise priorities. Develop working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud capabilities, identity resolution, data models, and activation flows. Participate in technical discussions, providing business context and shaping viable approaches. Contribute insights to medium‑range planning while focusing on immediate delivery outcomes. Experience and Education Knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem (Marketing Cloud, Interaction Studio/Personalization, Data Cloud, etc.) and willingness to deepen expertise. Undergraduate degree required; product or technology certifications and relevant experience are assets. 3–7 years of relevant experience, preferably with CRM, CDP, analytics, marketing technology, or Salesforce‑based platforms. Experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and supporting agile software delivery teams. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration skills. Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Curiosity about market trends and interest in how Salesforce’s evolution (including Marketing Cloud Next) will impact customer data and personalization.
