Salesforce Product Owner Department: Technology & Product Employment Type: Permanent Location: Remote, Canada Reporting To: VP, Product Experience and Delivery Description We are looking for a Salesforce Product Owner to drive the strategic vision and delivery of Salesforce solutions across the business. In this hybrid role, you will serve as the voice of the customer, translating business goals into actionable technical requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-impact Salesforce capabilities. You will lead end-to-end product lifecycle activities—from discovery, requirements, solution design, backlog grooming, to stakeholder communication and adoption support. You will play a key role in ensuring the Salesforce platform Sales/Service/Marketing Cloud enables core business processes efficiently and with high user satisfaction. What that means day-to-day: Product Ownership & Strategy (70%) Define and own the Salesforce product roadmap aligned with business objectives. Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. Lead backlog refinement, prioritization, sprint planning, and release management. Drive user story development, acceptance criteria, and solution validation. Conduct stakeholder demos and feature walkthroughs to ensure alignment and adoption. Manage platform enhancements, change requests, and new feature rollouts. Salesforce Platform Expertise (20%) Maintain hands-on familiarity with Salesforce Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Cloud. Use declarative tools (Flows, Validation Rules, Process Builder) for rapid prototyping. Understand platform limitations, governor limits, and configuration vs. customization best practices. Support minor configuration changes and drive quality assurance for major releases. Data & Operations Support (10%) Partner with business teams to ensure clean, consistent, and reportable data. Create and maintain reports and dashboards aligned with KPIs. Support adoption and change management by conducting training, creating SOPs, and troubleshooting issues post-deployment. What you’ll need to be successful: 6+ years of experience as a Product Owner or a related role with increasing levels of responsibility 4+ years of experience in-depth, hands-on in consultation, design, and documentation of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions Experience interfacing with business to analyze requirements, writing functional specifications, conduct tests, and troubleshooting issues Extensive experience in conducting feasibility studies, gap analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA) Previous experience implementing Salesforce Sales/Service/Experience/Marketing Cloud Salesforce Administrator certification required Proficiency with Force.com Migration Tool - Understanding of data migration from CSV, SQL or other systems to the Salesforce platform, using tools such as the Salesforce Data Loader Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies Excellent time management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills What you’ll get in return: We want you to be able to do your best work here.
