About the Role As Vice President, Clinic Operations , you’ll serve as the strategic operational leader for our regional clinics, IPA networks, and affiliated clinical operations. Reporting directly to the Regional Senior Vice President, you’ll advance Optum California’s mission to deliver high-quality, equitable, and value-based care . You’ll partner with senior medical and operational leaders to integrate clinical excellence with operational execution—ensuring care models that are data-driven, patient-centered, and financially sustainable. What You’ll Do Shape and execute the vision for Optum California, aligning strategy with local market needs. Lead financial planning and resource optimization to fuel growth and innovation. Identify opportunities for expansion and collaborate across teams to bring them to life. Quality & Performance Improvement Build a culture of continuous improvement using data to drive excellence. Enhance patient and provider satisfaction through innovative programs and solutions. Ensure all operational services meet regulatory and quality standards. Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing clinic operations leaders. Model collaborative, transparent leadership that inspires trust and engagement. Salary range: $156,400–$268,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications, plus bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits. Pay is determined by factors including local labor markets, education, and certifications.
