Our client is a national leader in full‑service print and communications solutions, recognized for bringing creative visions to life through precision manufacturing, technology, and innovation. With specialized expertise in commercial offset, digital print, large format, and other solutions, they serve a diverse client base across retail, financial services, government, institutional, and consumer sectors. As the organization continues to grow, they are seeking a forward‑thinking Vice President of Operations to oversee one of their key production and fulfilment facilities in the Toronto area. This executive‑level role reports directly to the CEO and is instrumental in shaping and executing operational strategy across the business. Position Overview The Vice President of Operations will lead the full spectrum of operations, including print production, direct mail, warehousing, quality, and plant leadership. This role is responsible for driving performance, aligning operations with business goals, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, efficient, and high‑quality outputs across multiple service lines. As a core member of the executive team, the VP of Operations will play a strategic role in ensuring operational agility, client satisfaction, and long‑term growth. Key Responsibilities Lead all manufacturing and plant operations to align with company growth and client service objectives. Develop and implement operational strategies that improve productivity, cost‑efficiency, and quality. Mentor plant managers and cross‑functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to increase throughput and reduce waste. Oversee capital projects, equipment upgrades, and production scalability efforts. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of client deliverables. Strategic thinker with a track record of scaling complex operations. Motivational leader with experience building high‑performing teams. Business‑focused, with strong execution and problem‑solving skills. Qualifications 8–10+ years of progressive leadership and management experience in operations, including at the plant‑director or executive level. Industry experience in print, or industrial manufacturing is strongly preferred. Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred. Proven success managing high‑volume, multi‑shift production environments. Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise‑wide transformation, change management, and process optimization.
