Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Team Lead is responsible for planning production, managing the supply chain, and controlling physical inventory. This role supervises the Supply Chain Coordinator and supports the manufacturing department in a team environment to ensure that all goals and targets are met or exceeded.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations. Follow all safety rules and procedures and company work rules.
  • Maintain accurate inventory control and report discrepancies to management. Organize periodic physical inventory cycle counts as directed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date production-related activities, including controlling and updating serial numbers.
  • Estimate the type and quantity of materials and labor required for production capacity planning and other projects.
  • Regularly meet with production, purchasing, and other management to coordinate production-related activities and resolve challenges.
  • Schedule production orders to meet customer requirements.
  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of parts, supplies, materials, and products, ensuring that they are received and shipped on schedule.
  • Prepare and maintain various reports on upcoming orders, back orders, or material shortages and inform the Sales Team regarding changes in lead time.
  • Ensure all quality policies and procedures are followed throughout the company.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.


Education, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Education: 3-year college diploma in Production Scheduling and Inventory Control or related discipline/certification.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in manufacturing, production control, and scheduling.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and creative problem-solving skills. Effective communicator with the ability to coach and mentor others. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Security Clearance: Successful candidates must qualify for security clearance for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) including a police check.
