Reporting to Sienna’s Executive Vice President, Retirement Living, the Vice President, Resident Care will lead the transformation of our care service offerings and oversee all clinical care team members to deliver exceptional health and wellness services to our residents. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Retirement Operations to ensure standards and services for care are provided across all Aspira homes to enhance the quality of life for our residents. This role demands innovative leadership and a deep commitment to clinical health and wellness.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative programs and initiatives aimed at improving resident health outcomes, promoting wellness, and addressing the evolving needs of our resident population to drive enhanced care revenue
  • Collaborate with the Retirement Senior Leadership Team to develop a national shared services leadership and governance framework that supports clinical care excellence across Ontario, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Alberta to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and resident satisfaction, as we work towards our vison of becoming the most trusted and most loved senior living provider
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinical care team members, including nurses, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize performance and promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and community partners to promote open communication, collaboration, and resident-centered care
  • Act as a senior expert providing functional leadership and technical expertise to Vice President Regional Operations and Partners on matters relating to professional area of expertise and divisional initiatives and activities
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to senior care services, and ensure compliance with all applicable standards and regulations
  • Drive the adoption of technology solutions to enhance the delivery of care services, improve efficiency, and streamline processes
  • Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of resident care programs and initiatives, and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement


Who you are:

  • You possess a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field; a master’s degree in healthcare administration or business administration is preferred
  • With over 15 years of progressive experience, you are a strategic leader with a passion for enhancing the quality of life for seniors and a strong commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery. You have a solid understanding of clinical best practices, quality improvement methodologies, and regulatory requirements related to senior care services in Canada
  • You have a proven track record of driving organizational change and leading successful initiatives to improve resident care outcomes and operational efficiency
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and inspire teams.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
