You shall be responsible for fostering a positive work environment, driving HR initiatives, and serving as a key point of contact for employees on various HR-related matters. You will collaborate with functional leaders, people leaders and employees to deliver HR programs that align with business goals. In this role you will get to Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on employee relations and performance management, providing guidance to leaders and employees on complex and sensitive matters with sound judgment and empathy. Champion Priceline’s culture and values as a visible and approachable presence in the office; fostering connection, engagement, and a positive, inclusive employee experience. Act as the “face of the office”, promoting a welcoming, collaborative, and high-performing work environment across teams. Provide expertise on Canadian benefits programs, supporting employees with questions, enrollment, and issue resolution. Partner with internal stakeholders and external counsel as needed to navigate Canadian immigration processes, including work permits and other employee mobility needs. Advise managers on performance expectations, documentation, and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), ensuring fair, transparent, and timely outcomes. Manage employee issues, grievances, and escalations with professionalism, consistency, and adherence to Priceline’s values and local legal requirements. Support new hire onboarding and orientation, ensuring a seamless and positive integration experience. Participate in employee engagement, change management, and development initiatives that strengthen team cohesion and drive performance. Ensure compliance with Canadian employment laws and company policies, keeping the business informed of changes or risks. Manage processes for unplanned exits, Return to Office (RTO), and other types of employee absence requests. Participate in the New hire Orientation to ensure smooth integration into the organization. Ensure compliance with all state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures. Manage local employee development initiatives, including training programs, workshops, and mentoring. Support Global training initiatives and collaborate with relevant stakeholder(s) to help drive training needs across various regions. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives that align with the company’s long-term goals. Participate in organizational change efforts, such as process improvement, and employee engagement programs. Who you are Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred). 3-6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity. Experience in working with Workday (preferred), and Google Suite. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with diverse teams and promoting an inclusive workplace culture. Ability to influence and engage employees and leaders across levels. Capable of managing multiple priorities and navigating complex situations. A team player who can build strong working relationships across the organization.
