Intermediate/Senior Electrical Design Engineer Full-Time | On-Site | Salary: $100k+ (based on experience) An established engineering consulting firm seeks an Intermediate to Senior Electrical Designer to join a collaborative, detail-driven team making an impact on high-performance building projects. Key Responsibilities Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and mixed-use building projects Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and specifications using industry-standard software Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirements Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams as well as external consultants Attend site visits, client meetings, and contribute to project coordination Participate in design reviews, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to value engineering Mentor junior team members and provide input on technical standards and best practices Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for commercial and/or industrial buildings Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant electrical design tools Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and building systems Excellent communication and coordination skills Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment CET/EIT designation or P.Eng.
