Electrical Designer/Engineer – Intermediate to Senior LevelFull-Time | On-Site | Salary: $100k+ (based on experience)About the OpportunityAn established and respected engineering consulting firm is currently seeking an Intermediate to Senior Electrical Designer to join their growing team. This role is fully on-site and ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, detail-driven environment and is looking to make an impact on a variety of high-performance building projects.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and mixed-use building projectsPrepare detailed drawings, layouts, and specifications using industry-standard softwareEnsure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirementsCoordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams as well as external consultantsAttend site visits, client meetings, and contribute to project coordinationParticipate in design reviews, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to value engineeringMentor junior team members and provide input on technical standards and best practicesQualificationsMinimum 5 years of experience in electrical design for commercial and/or industrial buildingsProficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant electrical design toolsStrong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and building systemsExcellent communication and coordination skillsAbility to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentCET/EIT designation or P.Eng.
