Job Summary The B2B Sales Director at Lorex will play a critical leadership role, tasked with significantly expanding our market share and positioning Lorex as a premier provider of security and IoT solutions within the B2B segment. This individual will leverage an in-depth understanding of market dynamics, competitor landscapes, customer requirements, and industry verticals to shape comprehensive strategies and actionable plans aimed at capturing significant growth opportunities. The successful candidate will define clear paths to market expansion, pinpointing precise customer segments and distribution channels while ensuring alignment with Lorex's overarching strategic objectives. They will be accountable for building and empowering a dynamic sales team, capable of delivering ambitious revenue and profitability targets. Additionally, the B2B Sales Director will cultivate strong relationships with key industry players, drive effective partner engagement, and implement data-driven approaches to continually optimize performance. This role is vital for Lorex’s growth trajectory, demanding a visionary leader who can adeptly combine strategic thinking with practical execution. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership and Planning: Develop and articulate Lorex’s B2B sales vision and comprehensive growth strategies aligned with long-term business objectives. Conduct thorough market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify new growth opportunities and threats. Develop channel and vertical-specific strategies to ensure targeted market penetration. Set sales targets and define clear performance metrics (KPIs) to effectively track progress. Forecast sales accurately, manage budgets effectively, and identify new business opportunities proactively. Team Leadership and Management: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team, capable of finding quality leads, establishing relationships, closing deals, and managing ongoing client relationships. Develop and implement comprehensive training strategies to continuously enhance sales team capabilities. Set individual and team quotas, conduct regular team meetings, and provide structured performance reviews and feedback. Foster a collaborative, supportive, and results-oriented sales environment. Optimize the organizational structure to align with growth strategies. Sales Execution and Revenue Generation: Drive customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction through strategic client engagement and exceptional service delivery. Manage key accounts and strategic partnerships, ensuring long-term relationship growth and high customer satisfaction. Oversee the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring effective sales practices and processes. Negotiate complex contracts and agreements to ensure favorable outcomes and alignment with corporate objectives. Product and Solution Development: Collaborate closely with product managers to guide the development of market-driven products and solutions. Develop product and solution strategies based on customer insights and market analysis Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Customer Support to ensure alignment and seamless customer experience. Influence product lifecycle management and new product launch strategies from a sales perspective. Operational Excellence: Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, CRM optimization, and the development of robust sales tools. Introduce innovative tools and AI-based solutions to maximize sales team productivity and efficiency with minimal resources. Ensure compliance with sales policies, contracts, and legal regulations. Analyze sales data, generate actionable insights, and deliver regular and detailed sales reports to executive leadership. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Bachelor's or Master's in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Exceptional creative and corporate writing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into consumer-friendly messaging. Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) and other creative tools. Strong understanding of design principles, brand management, and developing shopper marketing solutions for retail and digital environments. Expertise in leveraging digital marketing channels, including paid search, social media, programmatic advertising, and influencer marketing. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data interpretation, campaign performance tracking, and KPI development. Advanced knowledge of AI applications in marketing, including tools for creative development, content generation, and performance optimization. Solid grasp of public relations best practices, media engagement strategies, and reviews management platforms (e.g., BazaarVoice, Trustpilot, Google Business). Familiarity with project management tools and processes to handle complex, multi-faceted campaigns efficiently. Strategic Market Insight: Ability to leverage deep industry knowledge and analytical rigor to identify opportunities and devise impactful growth strategies. Results-driven Leadership: Proven ability to motivate, manage performance, and drive a high-performing B2B sales team. Relationship Management: Demonstrated capability to establish and nurture influential relationships with strategic accounts, partners, and internal stakeholders. Analytical Decision-making: Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and translate insights into strategic decisions. Effective Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills to clearly articulate strategies, motivate teams, and influence key stakeholders. Change Management: Proven expertise in effectively managing organizational changes, driving adoption, and ensuring the success of strategic initiatives. Operational Excellence: Proficiency in optimizing sales processes, systems, and tools, including advanced CRM usage and implementation of new technology. Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field. 15+ years of progressive B2B sales leadership experience, particularly within technology, security, IoT, or closely related industries. Proven track record of significantly growing revenue, exceeding multimillion-dollar sales targets, and effectively scaling sales organizations. Demonstrated experience in building strategic partnerships and channel management, directly impacting business expansion. Advanced proficiency with CRM platforms and sales analytics tools, with the ability to drive and measure sales performance metrics effectively. Outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and build effective sales cultures.
