We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales team in the publishing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sales strategies, market trends, and customer engagement in the publishing sector. Responsibilities Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets. Lead, train, and mentor the sales team to maximize performance and professional growth. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies. Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and partners to foster business growth. Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to the executive team. Collaborate with marketing to create effective promotional campaigns that enhance sales efforts. Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote our publishing offerings. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role specific to the publishing industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive market. Strong knowledge of the publishing industry, including current trends and challenges. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire a sales team. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and stakeholders. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools to drive data-informed decisions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
