We are seeking an Associate Director, Sales to support our business development efforts and help grow our Advisor base across Canada.Based in Calgary and reporting to the Managing Director, Sales, this role is responsible for managing inbound inquiries, supporting the external sales team with lead follow-up, and engaging prospective Advisors and Advisors through phone and email outreach. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator with a passion for relationship building and a strong interest in investment products.Responsibilities:Proactively engage with prospective Advisors and Advisors through outbound phone calls and emailsRespond to inbound inquiries from clients, Advisors, and interested AdvisorsSupport the external sales team by managing lead follow-up and tracking relationship progressUse sales enablement tools such as HubSpot to support outreach and targetingIntroduce ICM’s investment offerings to prospective clients in a clear, professional, and compliant mannerSchedule and coordinate meetings or calls between Advisors and senior members of the sales teamPrepare and distribute client-facing documents, offering materials, and presentationsUphold a high standard of service in all written and verbal interactionsCollaborate with the Sales Admin team to ensure smooth onboarding and documentation workflowsHelp manage campaign execution and follow-up from marketing-led initiatives (e.g., webinars, email blasts)Coordinate with the marketing team on the distribution of fund updates, newsletters, and event invitationsMaintain and organize communication records, notes, and key follow-up actions for the sales teamAdvisor Experience & Internal CollaborationContribute feedback to improve sales processes, CRM workflows, and client communication templatesParticipate in internal sales meetings and assist with reporting on pipeline and outreach activityQualifications:Required:2+ years of experience in a client-facing sales, business development, or inside sales roleDiploma in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be consideredExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenProven ability to manage and convert leads through email and phone engagementComfortable handling objections and tailoring messaging to various Advisor profilesStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systemsExperience supporting or selling investment products, ideally in real estate, private capital, or wealth managementPreferred/Nice to Have:Experience coordinating with marketing and external wholesalers to execute campaignsExposure to platforms such as Fundserv and HubSpotExperience with outbound call tracking systemsBilingual (French/English) considered an assetICM Offers:The opportunity to join a high growth and dynamic firmEducation and growth opportunitiesReimbursement for certain professional development expensesCompetitive compensationEmployee group benefit planRRSP matchingOnsite gymParticipation in a wide array of company social and volunteering eventsAbout ICM:Our success hinges on delivering outstanding Advisor results using innovative strategies and elevate our clients’ experience through collaboration and exceptional service.
