We're one global team driven by our common purpose to deliver a better world. Join us. Job Description AECOM is seeking an Estimating Manager for an immediate opportunity at ourHamilton Office. This is a new position and the work mode will be hybrid. The Estimating Manager reports to the Project Controls Manager and responsibilities include the following: Liaise with the client’s estimating team to ensure full compliance with estimating standards, requirements, and governance processes. Participate in Development Phase Estimate Working Groups and coordinate estimating inputs across disciplines. Review all project materials and deliverables to ensure estimates are aligned with industry best practices and are properly benchmarked. Lead and support change management, value engineering activities, and cost-impact assessments. Coordinate with Independent Value Assessors (IVA) and participate in IVA challenge panels. Address and close out auditor questions, comments, and compliance findings. Develop and implement project-specific estimating reports and dashboards to meet client and internal reporting requirements. Manage and review cost-related submissions from contractors, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with project scope, deliverables, and contract terms. Provide guidance to the project team on estimating requirements, cost trends, risk drivers, and commercial implications. Maintain estimate documentation, assumptions, basis of estimate, and benchmarking records to support traceability and audit readiness. Well developed interpersonal and communication skills are key. Ability to develop long term relationships with all team members and effectively balance people and processes.
