Job Summary:
We're seeking a dynamic, self-motivated sales professional to be our first sales hire. You'll play a crucial role in establishing our sales process, driving revenue growth, and shaping our customer success strategy. If you like to wear multiple hats, dig into new problems, and be a part of a big vision, this position is for you.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement effective outbound sales strategies
- Create and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads
- Conduct thorough research on potential clients and their industries
- Craft personalized pitches and value propositions for each prospect
Cold Outreach
- Conduct cold calls to potential clients, effectively communicating the value proposition
- Develop and execute email campaigns for lead generation
- Utilize social selling techniques on platforms like LinkedIn
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of different outreach methods
Sales Cycle Management
- Guide prospects through the entire sales funnel, from initial contact to closed deal
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
Product Feedback Collection
- Gather detailed feedback from customers and prospects about product features and usability
- Identify common pain points and feature requests
- Collaborate with the product team to prioritize improvements based on customer feedback
- Conduct regular check-ins with customers to assess satisfaction and gather ongoing feedback
Customer Success Initiatives
- Develop and implement onboarding processes for new customers
- Create and maintain customer success metrics and KPIs
- Proactively identify at-risk accounts and develop retention strategies
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customer base
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the product team to align sales strategies with product roadmap
- Collaborate with marketing to develop effective sales collateral and messaging
- Provide insights to the leadership team on market trends and competitive landscape
- Participate in product strategy discussions, offering sales perspective
Sales Operations and Reporting
- Implement and maintain CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records
- Develop sales forecasts and pipeline reports
- Create and refine sales processes and playbooks
- Analyze sales metrics to continuously improve performance
- Keeps teams informed of key metrics
Compensation and Position Details:
- Position to start as a full-time contractor, later to convert to full-time employee
- $40k - $50k base - USD
- OTE of $125k USD
- 15% commission on all deals sold
