Partnerships Development Director

Overview Reporting to the VP, Corporate Partnerships & Ticketing, the Partnerships Development Director is a proven sales leader who drives OSEG’s primary revenue-generating functions by cultivating relationships with local and regional corporate partners. A strategic problem-solver with a positive, collaborative approach, this individual will develop revenue-generating partnership programs that deliver meaningful value across OSEG’s business entities: TD Place, Ottawa REDBLACKS, Ottawa 67’s, and the OSEG Foundation. This is a full-time, permanent role with 100% employer-paid benefits. Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate\'s experience and qualifications. This is a replacement position and offers flexibility, with the option to work from our Ottawa office, in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), or through a hybrid arrangement. Responsibilities Drive revenue through the development of strategic partnerships across national/regional/local territories. Research, prospect and establish leads followed by an introductory needs analysis/discovery meeting while utilizing a consultative sales approach. Establish relationships that lead to long-term partnerships while supporting the organization’s strategic priorities. Work closely with the Partnerships and Brand & Content teams to coordinate and create relevant presentation materials consistent with the premium and progressive nature of OSEG. Collaborate with the Partnerships Account Services team, to ensure the fulfillment of partner deliverables, and the development of new partner assets. Work with internal stakeholders to ensure effective development and delivery of partnership programs. Be an ambassador for OSEG, TD Place, and Lansdowne Limited Stadium Partnership in the local business community and the regional and national partnership marketing industry. Other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications Completion of post-secondary degree in marketing, business, sports administration, or other related discipline. 7+ years of experience working in Partnership sales with proven tracker record of driving revenue through: Naming rights Intellectual property rights In-venue assets Media assets including broadcast, social and digital. Working knowledge of key marketing concepts and functions including Media (TV, Radio, Print, Digital, Mobile); brand strategy and positioning; marketing metrics (broadcast ratings, research in brand and promotion tracking.) Established professional networks and relationships within the Canadian sports, events, and media industry. Proven track record in business development, sales, and partnership management, with the ability to recognize opportunities and implement improvements. Strong customer service skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, adept at building and fostering relationships. Highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills. Ability to work events on evenings and/or weekends. May be required to travel. Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
