WHAT YOU'LL DO

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role, or safety leadership as part of a team, with exposure to both corporate and field environments. A good understanding of Canadian and HSE regulations, with experience conducting safety investigations and implementing corrective actions. Knowledge of USA regulations is an asset. Proficiency in digital safety management systems such as ComplyWorks, Avetta, and ISNetworld.

Ability to assess workplace hazards and recommend practical mitigation strategies. Strong presentation skills to lead training and safety meetings. A clean criminal background check. Ability to travel within Canada and USA; must have a valid class 5 driver's license and passport.

Strong presentation skills to lead training and safety meetings. A clean criminal background check. Wear required safety equipment and personal protective devices, including clothing mandated by legislation and the employer. Take every reasonable precaution to protect the safety of other workers and oneself. Lift up to 50lbs occasionally.

Maintain a valid Driver’s License and a clean driver's abstract. Maintain a clean criminal background check.
