Responsibilities:Preparing food daily food production goals, and meeting food production deadlinesCleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas to establish proper hygieneMonitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standardsWashing and storing all cooking appliances, utensils, cutting boards and dishesLoading and unloading of deliveriesLoading of Food into trucksOversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating/ packagingEnsuring exceptional food quality and consistencyEffectively manage daily food production goals, and meeting food production deadlinesManage inventory and order supplies as neededCollaborate with the Kitchen manager and the management to develop menus and specialsMonitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standardsMaintain cleanliness and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:- Proven experience in kitchen management for at least 2 years- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities efficiently, and handle pressure
- Strong attention to details and organizational skills
- able to carry heavy items- Can start immediately- Willing to travel everyday to Kitchen's location (down town Toronto)
