Provision is seeking a Sales Director to build pipeline and grow signed MRR for our B2B food safety SaaS platform. This role sits on the revenue team and reports directly to the CRO. You’ll work closely with sales and marketing colleagues to prospect, qualify, and convert opportunities across an assigned territory. To thrive in this role, you must be entrepreneurial, consultative, and driven to exceed quota. You’ll balance hunting for new opportunities with managing the full sales cycle — from first touch through signed agreement. Above all, you’ll be accountable for turning prospects into long-term clients, fuelling Provision’s growth. Responsibilities Pipeline Generation: Own your defined territory, uncovering new sales opportunities from outbound initiatives, referrals, and inbound leads Lead Engagement: Run discovery calls, sales presentations, and product demos that translate software features into clear solutions Relationship Building: Develop trusted relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers to expand reach and generate referrals Deal Management: Structure pricing proposals, negotiate agreements, and close deals that grow signed MRR Market Expertise: Build a deep understanding of client sectors, pain points, and technical requirements for compliance and continuous improvement in food safety CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of pipeline activity, forecast updates, and client interactions Requirements 3–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota Strong skills in outbound prospecting, pipeline building, and full-cycle sales Excellent communication and presentation abilities, capable of learning and applying technical concepts Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills Experience using CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and related tools Ability to travel internationally, up to 33% of the time A self-starter mindset with resilience in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment Preferences Background in food, agriculture, supply chain, or compliance sectors Experience selling into operations, compliance, or quality leaders Exposure to early-stage or scale-up SaaS environments Compensation Commission and performance-based bonus incentives Health benefits policy Potential eligibility for employee stock options High-growth team with entrepreneurial spirit and autonomy Unified sales and marketing collaboration to maximize pipeline and conversions Exposure to top-tier food companies, consultants, and regulators Annual company summit and regular team-building activities About Us Provision is a food safety software platform founded in 2018.
