Act as the secondary point of contact for clients, guests and internal management. Assist the Manager with reporting SLA results, recruitment, hiring, scheduling and administrative duties. Oversee unit associates and coach associates toward career development. Participate in food preparation, menu planning, budgeting, costing and inventory management. Collaborate on operation‑planning phases, including inventory management, space utilisation and vendor relationships. Execute unit‑specific policies, maintain quality standards and support the events team for seamless event planning and execution. Help host weekly event meetings, provide AV support and address service or guest issues. Ensure compliance with SLAs, quality assurance, Occupational Health and Safety Act and WHMIS regulations. Assist in major projects, booking and billing procedures and meeting annual revenue goals. Contribute to weekly budget report preparation and support revenue‑management strategies. Assist in processing weekly payroll. Qualifications Minimum two years of related food‑service management experience, including one year of catering. Proficient in controlling food and labour costs. Creative application of contemporary food items and presentations. Strong leadership, motivation, mentoring and team‑collaboration skills. Excellent client‑relationship and communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); culinary skills are an asset. Compass Group Canada is committed to nurturing a diverse workforce.
